All orders are fulfilled by Red Knight Books, a small family enterprise based in Mumbai.
Payments are accepted and processed through PayPal. We do not collect,store or have visibility to your method of payment.
We generally ship all orders within 24 to 48 hours of receipt (except on public holidays or weekends) through India Post Speed-post service or reputable couriers. Tracking number is provided against all shipments. You can track your orders on the courier website.
If you wish to cancel your order due to any reason before it is shipped, please write to email@example.com and we will do our best to fulfil your request. Cancellation will not be possible if the order is marked a shipped.
Returns – all our products are carefully checked and hand packed. In the unlikely event you receive a wrong book or it is damaged in transit, please reach out to us on email within 48 hours with photos of the same.
Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Book with obvious signs of use
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 10 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, generally within 3 working days but it may sometimes take longer due to circumstances beyond our control.
Refunds in form of cheques can take 10-12 business days to arrive via post.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the original payment method you used to make the payment (credit/ debit card) is no longer valid, we’ll issue the refund through a cheque.
When we receive a payment failure notice from your bank, we will send you an e-mail asking you to call us. When you call us back, we will collect your name and the address where you want the cheque to be sent, and proceed with the refund.
Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. The name on your order should match with the name of the bank account holder.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged or wrong item dispatched. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com.
To return your product, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you the instructions.
If the return is for received wrong product or damaged in transit, we will reimburse you the shipping cost against a valid courier receipt.
We generally do not accept refund request for and including cases of buyer’s remorse such as no longer needed or incorrect product ordered. However, do send in your request to us and we will examine the same on merits and revert back to you. Even if your request is accepted as an exception, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
We will not use your email address or phone number for any other purpose except to send information about your order or to resolve a customer service issue.
